'Alton Albany Farm is a very stylish place which allows Andrea's and Alasdair's artistic background to shine quietly through. Everything was just right. We also valued their welcome throughout our 6-day stay at this very well kept Guest House. As a bonus, we enjoyed their easy conversations on various topics. "Three of us were lucky enough to be able to stay with Andrea & Alasdair for 4 days over the Easter Holidays. What an amazing place to escape to. We felt completely at home, the rooms were large and comfortable, the breakfast delicious and the hosts lovely. There were lambs sheltering in one of the barns and we were lucky enough with the weather to see them leave and head into the fields. A rare treat to be so close to nature! It's a great base to explore the area from. We did lots of walking and enjoyed lots of fresh air and peace and quiet. The landscape, sunsets and night sky were extraordinary...make sure you take a camera. Can't wait to go back..."
